I was looking at my collection recently, when I noticed that the two common $5 chip that come with a $1 overstamp matched a $1 chip very closely. I have read that the clubs must have run out of $1 chips, so they converted the $5's to $1's. But looking at the scan, it appears that they might have done this due to a theft problem.
