I just want to thank all of you who have come into my stores (Sahara Coins, Summerlin Rare Coin Center) who have purchased Certified Casino Chips. We have sent over 500 chips to ICG to have them graded and certified and have had great response since placing them in our display cases. What really excites me is that about 50% of our sales have been to coin and currency collectors who had never thought of buying chips before. It is very nice to be able to expose new collectors to the hobby simply by giving them some type of comfort level (which they have been used to with coins and currency being certified) so that they could make a more knowledgable buying decision. Myself and my staff have been asking our customers if they belong to your organization and only 7 of them to date have said they do. To date we have sold 38 chips with a total value of over $11,400.00. Not bad for 30 Days. Even though our combined sales for both stores is just over $10mil per year I feel that this is a new and exciting area for our customer base. Saharacoins.com opens in about 3 weeks and will have over 300 certified chips in the chip section. We are looking forward to a great year with chips and hope all of the best to all chippers, Believers or not.
