Simple:
Slabbing does nothing to add to the value of the chip, it just adds to the cost.

It can take a hobby that was once fun & turn it in to an investment, or in other words, turn it in to a business. Over time it can drive the price of a lot of the chips out of the price range that little people (like me) can afford.

Worst of all, all the talk & debate of it is splitting people in the hobby apart (even folks who are against it) & creating bad vibes, which everyone can feel, IMHO. Everyone have a gnarly day!
