This proposal will not encourage collecting, it will kill it. What kind of organization is this? Are we so focused on our national club that we would actually forbid collectors who are not interested in national issues from joining their local chapters? This proposal is self-serving.

I am a proud member of both National and my local Colorado chapter, but my collecting interestes are national.

In Colorado a small minority of our members are not members of national, for the most part these members are elderly (60-85 years old), collect Colorado $1 tokens only and enjoy our groups meetings. I for one will not throw these people out of the club because they don't want or in some cases cannot afford to join the national club.

Stop focusing on national club power and start focusing on the joy of collecting and sharing a common interest with friends.
