I've been thinking about the scale the anti-slabbing effort is taking on and have an idea that I think you should consider.

Anti-Slabbing Chapter of the CC>CC

1- Because Slabbing ain't Chipping!

2- It presents a greater demonstrable strength. It is more than a list.

3- Could become largest Chapter in very short order. Right now only
the BB contingent of the club is involved in, or is aware of the effort.

4- Chapter could utilize the SLABFREE.COM as its website.

5- Take full advantage of all Chapter benefits, i.e., space in CC&TN to present the case at no cost and no concern for inclusion of opposing views, national meetings at convention, etc

6- Light dues so as not to inhibit membership.

7- The chapter and its policies will outlast any single administration.

8- Chapter can provide informative welcome packet to all new CC>CC members with appropriate educational material.

9- This fight will go on for years. It will need more than message boards with posts scrolling off every two days to sustain the concerted effort.

What is your take on the idea? Of course if you think the idea sucks......

By all means post it. Hold off on the attribution, for now.

The anti-slab movement needs to change its image from outrage and posse, to
people who want to remain 'chippers' not 'investors'. Hopefully as a
Chapter that will be accomplished.
