Jetonrun, Barcelona Spain

Monday we got to Spain. Met up with Fran Alejandre (also a BB reader) visisted Barcelona and had diner. Fran had to start at 10.30 pm for his shift.
The Gran Casino Barcelona opens at 3 pm till 5 am. It is the biggest Spanish casino and very new. The old property in Sitges, some 30 km south of Barcelona is still there but empty. The managment, Casino Catalunya, decided they could have better crowd in the center of Barcelona and it worked.
The casino is in the Port Olympic, where the 1992 where held so a new area. It is in the cellar of Hotel Arts, a ***** hotel.
Again the passport and day card (about $5) dresscode, no tie or jacket required but no jeans, shorts or sportshoes.
At the entrylevel they have slots and at -1 the tables and still some more slots and restaurant.
Lots of French tables, several American tables, several Black-jack tables, 2 Punto Banco's and just new a Poker table, and 1 Boule table unfortunatly closed during the week.
Jetons and plaques still the same, but to many of us have take them so they had to had new B&G jetons of 200 made (the one with the full nrs is new) and even use the 200 jeton from Lloret de Mar (also from Casino Catalunya and about 100kms north of Barcelona on the coast).
Also a new 1000 Pts jeton a little nit more brighter, the 2000 blue still same, as the white 5000 and the red 10000. Plaques 50.000 (babyblue), 100000 (yellow),
200000 (green), 1000000 (white), 2000000 (red) still the same.
We both had a go at the French tables and both where lucky. As I only play the small table, pocketed some old and new 200s. Fred ended up with a nice 50000 and 100000 plaque. He still cashed them in but kept almost a whole serie of the jeton he won.
Fran started to work and we had a very good time and lots of fun.
Kind regards,
