Jetonrun, San Remo Italy

Sunday we drove to San Remo, Italy, on the Riviera.
The Casino Municipal San Remo opens at 3 pm. Slotsection is open even a lot earlier, but again we wanted to play the table games.
After again the same procedure of passport and daycard and entryfee (during weekdays entrance is free only Fri-Sat-Sunday you pay 15.000Lire, about $10)
We walked up to the gamingroom in the old style again. Just after you go in, where 2 older gentleman check your ticket, again on the wall there is a fantastic display of all the old jetons and plaques from times long gone.....
We entered the gamingroom where you have also some slots, 6 American roulette tables and 6 Black-jack tables.
Next room you have at least 10 French roulette tables (Yes, Bob Orme, maybe even 12 tables). There are also some Punto Banco and Trente Quarante tables.
Here you can feel like a millionair and change when starting to play half a million (about $280 or so).
Again still the same jetons and plaques as they had for the last few years.
Everybody is waiting for the Euro and let the current jetons and plaques last till then.
Jetons are mostly in the same style as the 10.000Lire, but bright colors with lunettes. Fred has several higher denomintaion so we will see a scan maybe a bit later, myself I collect low denominations, Plaques starts in the millions
The table are operated by older croupiers, take a notebook and pen as no displays for the previous numbers so to keep track, I try to, use the old paper and pen. Language could be more dificult as the 'older guys' did not understand Fred when he asked them to place his bet. But after some waiving and pointing everything came wright. We again had a great time.
Kind regards,
