Jetonrun, Monte Carlo Monaco

After Nice, we drove to Monte Carlo Monaco.
By the time we got there the Casino was all litt up ans shined as a star in the night. Again weather was fair, parking just infront of the Casino and Hotel de Paris in a underground parking. Unless you drive a Rolls Royce or Ferrari and are a good member (high roller)they park your car in front of the door.
We went in, again passport , pay the daycard and there you need a jacket and tie. Again the table games are only open at night as of 8 pm. We walked into the one of the most famous and fantastic old interiors with paintings on the ceilling from the late 1800s.
In first room they have about 8 French roulette tables 4 American Roulette tables and 2 black-jack tables.
There was a craps table but was closed also the punto banco was closed.
Then you walk to the next room, the 'salle privé' for the 'BIG' player if you want to go in again you have to pay a little fee. There was a lot more people there but same tables only higher limits.
We decided not to go in but look at the 2 very nice looking displays with ALL the old plaques and jetons they had in play since they started. Unfortunatly cameras not allowed but next time I go I will write and explain that we would like to take a picture. Maybe when it is closed and together with someone of the management we could take the necesary pictures.
Jetons and plaques still looked the same as before and you see the 50.000FF plaques (about $7500) a lot in play. Bigger ones for pay offs and lots ot nice jetons. But already long in play (several years).
Black-jack was 500FF minimum on 1 table and was full, second table was 2500FF but was almost full. Fred decided not to force himself on the tables or ask one of the lady's sitting next to her husband to leave. So Fred was a gentleman and did not play black-jack. We did however played some nice roulette on the French Tables and had fun and won a bit.
We enjoyed our stay there in the old atmosphere and left around 2.30am they where closing some of the roulette tables and then the put all the jetons and plaques on the table to make their count. Could I only take a few of each I would be in heaven....
