New Blackjack Machine
In Response To: New BJ machine ()

I have not been to the Excalibur for several weeks, but I have seen a live, dealer attended, "video" blackjack machine at the Tropicana and at least one other casino. In the past I have seen non-attended video blackjack, but betting was limited. In fact, I have only seen $1 (token) versions, which have an $8 betting limit.

These new machine now allow for a higher level of play, but I have only seen regular chips (cheques) being used. The dealer simply makes sure that all bets are placed, and when they are, he/she simply hits the deal button. Video cards are dealt, players hit/stand/double/split accordingly, and dealer drags lossing bets and pays out winning bets.

Chips (cheques) are placed on a glass surface, under which the player monitors are set. The versions I have seen do not detect chips (cheques), nor their value, that are placed in-play, as that is what the dealer does.

Another interesting note.... Everyhand is with a new deck!!!!!
