... upon my return from Vegas and in the time since, I have received a small blizzard of emails from ebay buyers about Gene Finz (irresistiblestuf). You may remember him as the seller for whom I left four negative feedbacks awhile ago (for which I was criticized by some folks). Well, seems like he has gone from ripping people off for excessive postage to just ripping them off period.

In the past month, he has received 13 neutral and 28 (!!) negative feedbacks (none of them from me). One person's feedback reads:

>> User: wjc-jr300 (63) Date: Jan-20-01 16:30:34 PST Item: 537096150
>> Complaint: RIPPED OFF!!! $811 taken and no merchandise sent!!
>> No emails either!! FRAUD!!!!!

This poor lady is just one of many who have now been completely ripped off by this guy. I checked tonight and he apparently has no current auctions, HOWEVER, eBay has thus far refused to do anything about this, despite numerous complaints from buyers who have paid and received nothing and the fact that Finz has completely stopped responding to emails from them.

Several of them have gotten together to file numerous complaints with eBay and fraud claims with the postal service.

So, if he does happen to start running casino chip auctions again, BE FOREWARNED -- bidding on them would be a bad idea. Actually sending him money, even worse.
