I would like to let everybody know, that in no way was I trying to embarrass the club or make it look bad by having these t-shirts printed.
Having a friend who owns a silk screening company, I was encouraged by some chippers who feel strongly about this cause, to have them printed. I even asked for pre-orders to see if there was enought interest to continue. At the price I was offering them, you all can see that what little profit there was just covered my time and expenses. This was not done as a money making deal.
I would also like to remind everybody that when I offered these shirts, I made it very clear that they would have Gregs little man doing his thing on them.
I did not receive one email with the opinion that these shirts where in poor taste. I will have these shirts available at the chip show, for no other reason than to try to recover monies I have already laid out. Jim Reilly...thank you for your offer of buying the remaining shirts I hope that won't be necessary.
Out of respect for Rene's wishes, I also will not wear this shirt at the chip show.
