... in Belgium or Paris or wherever he happens to be at the moment! <g> And for anyone else who cares to play, too.

How many countries in the world can trace their current, continuous form of government to a date which precedes the founding of the U.S.?

I'll give you a hint <g> on that one: there are, arguably, five (some people might say only three).

Now the real question, can you name the five?

I'll give you another hint on that one: they ARE all in Europe.

Incentive: First person name all five (without including any incorrect answers; don't want some smart aleck posting a list of all the countries in the world and claiming the prize!) in a post here will win a 1995 Sonoma Joe's $5 Happy New Year chip.
