I'd urge you to check the truth of emails such as the one you posted before passing them on. Although Fonda's activities in Vietnam are well-documented many of the details in this letter are a hoax. It doesn't really bother me that you are passing on false stories about Fonda since what she REALLY did was treason. On the other hand, Jerry Driscoll and Col. Carrigan are real people who DID serve in Vietnam and were POWs. Neither man deserves to have lies circulated about them. Both have called this email a hoax and asked that it NOT be circulated.

One of the unfortunate things about the Net is it seems to create more and more of these "urban legends" that in many cases hurt innocent people.
