Japanese casinos

I know that gambling is illegal in Japan. But if you have any idea of what Pachinko is you know that gambling is actually a favorite past time in Japan. At a Pachinko parlor you buy steel balls(or slot tokens) and put them in Pachinko machines or regular slot machines. If you win and want to cash out you go the the back of the store where they will give you a hand full of pencils or some token present for your winnings. Now remember that gambling is illegal. So you leave the casino and go around the corner where therk is a blank wall with a small slot in it. You stich the pencils in the slot and they will buy them! And it turns out that the price is just what you would have won at the machine! So where is this leading to? When I was in Japan in the early 1990's I went to a Playboy casino in either Nagoya or Tokyo. Again they wouldn't let you gamble but it was like "fun night" at a new AC casino. You paid money and got "fun" chips. Whoever had the biggest winnings at the end of the week got a prize. Free drinks and Japanese bunnies all made it worthwhile. But what I am trying to figure out is if anyone has ever come out of there with any chips? I can't remember what type was used but I don't think they were cheap plastic. Can anyone help?
