Do you think slabbing chips would attract new chip collectors and new CCGTCC members? Why? Would these new members have the same outlook on this hobby as we generally do? I think that new collectors attracted to chip collecting by slabbing will make a big impact on the diversity we enjoy in our hobby presently. Consider the collectors like me looking for all the purty ones along with scarce item collectors and roulette collectors and riverboaters vs. AC enthusiats. I’m afraid new slab collectors will be looking at grade numbers rather than the chips themselves. Is that unfounded? Let me know. How would a new collector in a slabbed chip hobby acquire the number of chips we now enjoy is he had to face the extra $10 grade fee on chips he bought?
