I caught a tail-end story on the news late last night regarding liquor sales in New York State. Did you know that the sale of liquor package goods are PROHIBITED on Sundays in New York? Big to-do this year because New Year's Eve falls on a Sunday this year!

I wonder what all those New Year's Eve revelers are going to do now that their FREEDOM has been taken away from them? I wonder if it occured to them to buy their take-out booze before Sunday? This country is going to hell with all these packaging "bans" er, prohibitions. <g>
