I'm trying to figure out where I want to be watch'em! The tower at the Strat and the Eiffel Tower at the Paris would be my first 2 choices, but they'll both be packed, and I'd rather not be in that situation. What Vegas hotels (if any) have roof-top swimming pool areas that are open to the public? If none, I know the pool area at the Aladdin is several levels above the street but still close to it. I was also thinking maybe being on one of the pedestrian bridges over LV Blvd S might be an option.

I've never been in Vegas for New Years before, so any ideas for a place to watch the fireworks (other than on TV from the hotel room) will be greatly appreciated!
