Below I've pictured an enhanced close-up of the center inlay of an old Harrah's roulette chip along with a scan of the whole chip. As you can see, the letter "A" has been stamped into the chip on BOTH sides. What I'd like to know is does anyone know if this is a cancellation stamp or was it Harrah's way to ID the chip to table A ?? To me, it looks like a cancel stamp but..........???
