Your comments were a well reasoned justification for your position. Here are a few thoughts from a relative newcomer to chip collecting. I have never collected coins and, in fact, did not even know what slabbing was until someone explained it to me.
You mention "objective, third party graders". Whose standards will they use, since there are no universally accepted standards now. Will you take it apon yourself to invent some? Or, will the industry, like the Florida ballot counters, use whatever standard is individually convenient to their own business?
You mention "excessive cleaning". This is not an issue, as far as I know, for chip collectors. Casinos occassionally clean their chips. Collectors either wash of the accumulated scum (for sanitary or appearance reasons) or don't. It strikes me that this comment indicates a singular lack of understanding of a subject where you expect us to accept your company as an expert.
You are obviously in this for a profit. Why should I pay you to do what I can do with my own eyes? The modern scanner is of sufficient capability to provide ample evidence of chip quality for my collecting needs.
You will probably receive a number of rather hostile replies from those who feel more strongly on this issue, but I just don't see the need.
