Great Job Archie!
LOL! Now let's hope that Jim and Mike don't take legal action against you for character assassination... <VBG> Still I think they won’t, as it was an effective way to make the point.
The only thing I could add is - the rest of the cycle where the "investors" are told that there is a great new and "Very Hot Investment" - Casino Chips!
The investors subsequently jump in to the chip market; they drive up the prices further by the "increased demand" of these chips.
This in turn increases the pressure to get the chips graded in a higher and higher grade.
The cycle continues until the little guys, the collectors are forced out of the hobby by the ever-increasing prices of chips. With this lower the demand of the chip(s) to those in the investment market, the "value" or liquidity of the investment has been jeopardized, and the investor gets nervous and sells the chip(s) at reduced price, and now a crash in prices will follow... Just as they did in the coin market.
Again, great example Archie!!!
Regards,
Dick
