As for the strikes we collect I prefer to call them SPT's (Silver Premium Tokens) or (Silver Premium Gaming Tokens) rather than Silver Strikes.

The term Silver Strike has been around long before the strikes we collect came about.

However, within our club membership, when I first started and stated to dealers at the convention I collected silver strikes, many would bring out the older $5 and $25 strikes. However, as time has passed when you mention you collect silver strikes almost 100% of the dealers know you are referring to the Anchor gaming tokens.

As for my preference, to SPT, I still use it regularly, but it may become a reference in the past someday. And maybe I'll have to rename my guide currently "Nevada Silver Premium Gaming Tokens......"
