W95.MTX is a very nasty virus! I had it sent to me by a fellow eBayer several weeks ago unbeknownst to him & like you Gene, my anti virus software caught it as I was downloading it. The guy sent me an e-mail about a week later after he had recovered & told me that he had lost everything on his hard drive.

So if you are hooked up to the internet without Anti Virus software, like Gene said, you are "playing with fire". Also, if you do have Anti Virus software, make sure that your virus defintions are up to date. New viruses are discovered almost every day & if you you're not updated, you are also playing with fire!
