I guess everyone knows by now that postal rates are scheduled to increase 1 cent to 34 cents on January 7. Today the post office started selling the new 34 cent stamps. For those of you who wish to use them now, I heard somewhere that they are also issuing a -1 cent stamp to go with the new 34 cent one. If you wish to buy 100 of them, they will give them to you free and give you back $1 to make up for the -100 cents. These have to be used by Jan 7 also. Any leftovers must be turned in + 1 cent for each one after Jan 7.
