Sorry to say that the last time I was in Montraux, there were no chips at any
Swiss casino, as the only game in Switzerland at the
time was Boule (a form of Roulette) and the stakes
were too low for them to even consider chips. Local
coinage was used ( Min. SF5; max. SF 35 bet). All
the action was on the south bank of Lake Geneva in
Evian; a 30-minute crossing by steamer ferry.

BTW, I visited the grave of the greatest clown who
ever lived; Charlie Chaplin (Sir Charles Spencer),
in the nearby town of Vevey.
