New Job in the Casino Industry

Hi all,

Please forgive me if I have not responded to any e-mails recently, but I just started a new job at one of the new San Diego area casinos, Rincon Casino.

Our casino is a "slots only" place for the time being, with 750 Vegas style machines (coin only) in Phase 1. Phase 2 will bring us to a total of 2000 (or so) slots.

A permanent hotel/casino, with Harrah's as our partner (currently our management company) should be in place 3rd Quarter 2002. Approx. 200 rooms, several restaurants, and all California table games along with our machines will be included in that building.

I have taken a Slot Floor Supervisor position and am very excited! Our hard opening is schedualed for Jan. 11, 2001, so if you are in North San Diego County on or after that day, stop by on Swing Shift and say hi!!

Oh yeah, for all you token collectors, we will have $1.00, $5.00, & $25.00 tokens. Other game denominations will be .05 & .25. Chips will be forthcoming after our transition to permanent digs.

Best regards,

Jim in San Diego
