I've been expecting it to happen. On Dec. 13 Harrah's will close its small poker room. I learned to play casino poker there in 1974 and stay with them every year because of Sonny, Lucy and the other dealers. Strictly a small stakes room ($1 & $5 7 card and $2-4-8-8 hold em) but the dealers were neat. I'll stay there again next summer but for the last time. From now on I'll stay where I can play. The suits win again--will convert the card room to another sourvenir shop. A pox on them.
