Kind of reminds me of the time that I decided to put up Christmas lights around my house. I planned a neat Christmas tree that would extend from the top of my chimney to the ground. I decided to buy a ladder that would give me access to any spot on my house. I measured carefully and found that I need a 40 ft extension ladder to safely reach any spot. I headed up to Builders Square, and with safety foremost in my mind, I picked out a heavy duty fiberglass ladder. I told the salesman which one I wanted, pointed to my vehicle and a couple of their guys carried it out for me and tied it to the luggage rack, and to places under both the front and rear of my truck. It never budged the whole way home and I was very pleased until I tried to remove it. That is when I learned that the ladder was too heavy to be carried by one person. Not only could I not set it up by myself, I couldn't even get it off my truck without help. <g>
