TEXAS BELLE finds new home

For those who follow the ivory market:

IR-GV "Texas Belle" sold for $3,000 (the example
seen in AGC).

IP-TF "Large Numeral 50" sold for $2,500 (one of
only two pieces known and recorded by collectors).
Not in Revised Edition, but seen in Volume 12, #1 of
club magazine.

ID-CL "Standing Lion" (variation seen below) sold
for $1,000.

IP-OT "Large Numeral 25" sold for $450. Also seen
in same issue of club magazine.

IM-KE "Roman Numeral XXV" sold for $500.

Dale Seymour notes in his Antiques Collectibles club
magazine article: "The values given [in article] are
intended to be consistent with the codes in the
Revised Edition of Antique Gambling Chips. Due to
appreciation and increased interest in ivory chip
collecting, the value of the chips in this article
are considerably higher."
