In order to assert the proper jurisdiction of a court in a civil action, the pleader is required to plead the conditions. One condition usually is that the amount in controversy exceed a certain sum. That doesn't mean that the Plaintiff is limited by that amount. The estate will be going for a good deal more than that, you betcha, and no matter how much I lose at the dice table next spring while staying at Harrahs, it won't cover the ultimate settlement. <g>
