Since you decided to go that route with it, I was actually just saying that the GOVERNMENT should NOT release any of the results until all of the polls have closed. The press is going to conduct their little exit polls anyway so they should have some idea as to how people want them to think they voted.
If you'd rather have a free press with no government that should be pretty easy also, all YOU have to do is go buy your own little island. I'm not saying the government should come ANYWHERE near changing the 1st amenment. I'm simply stating that the FEC (Federal Election Commission) should take it upon themselves to hold the release of election results until the polls are closed. Believe it or not Jim, Congress wouldn't have to have anything to do with it. It would simply be a change in policy of an independent arm of the government. The press would ##### about it and then it would end up in the courts (that would COMPLETELY bypass Congress). I can't see as how ANY of this is the fault of the press. Anyone who REALLY thinks the press is guilty of anything other than being a little too overzealous in reporting "educated guesses" rather than facts needs to stop watching T.V. and find a more constructive way of spending their time.
As far as the idiots who can't think for themselves, well, on THAT one I HAVE to agree with you. Also the morons in FL that can't read THAT ballot. They even have people there to HELP you if you have any questions. Also, what kind of IDIOT would decide to just go ahead and punch BOTH holes? I was watching CNN and they interviewed this girl on there that even went as far as to say "In Palm Beanch County we have alot of illiterate people and senior citizens". <-Is THAT all they have there?

Well, I guess I've said my bit. I apologize to anyone out ther that might possibly have been offended by anything that I've written here, unless you're just p.o.'d because G.W.'s gonna come out on top WHATEVER happens.
