Re: Fire Hydrant - Pretty dull story actually!

Dick,

I've collectd "old stuff" for years. While some of it would be considered antiques, most of it is more along the lines of junk. (Old metal signs, street signs, barber chair (Ralph, I'll be calling!), pay telephone, etc.) My top items on my wish list for nearly ten years now have been fire hydrant, barber pole, juke box, and a Toledo Torch.

Last month, Silverton had a "giant garage sale" in the parking lot and I found this fire hydrant. Ran home and got my dolly (weighs about 250) and bought it. I love it! Now I might just get a barber shop pole to hang next to my antique barber chair from Ralph. How exciting! I doubt I can afford a juke box in the near future, but does anyone have a Toledo Torch?!?
