Borlands counterfits has made chippers leery of all Die Card and NV mold chips.
There are a lot of real chips on the molds. Again BJ records are the key. Borland actually made and delivered some real chips to casinos.

Here is one that was made and delivered by BJ, yet it was listed in TCR as a Borland fake. Just checked TCR 7 and it is listed as real. I lobbied for several years to get it changed.
