Re: WHERE IS THE WHITE OAK CASINO LOCATED?

The White Oak casino is located in Deer River Minnesota. It is owned and operated by the same indian tribe that also operates the Palace Casino (Walker Minnesota) and Northern Lites Casino (Cass Lake, MN). It is the smallest casino in Minnesota and opened around 23 August 2000.

It has a total of, count 'em, two (2) black jack tables. Current chips are Bud Jones $5.00; $25.00 and $100.00 chips. The only token is a $1.00 token. This token has the same reverse side as tokens from the other two casinos. I had some $5.00 chips for sale/trade, but they are all gone. I do however still have a few $1.00 tokens from there.

In so much as this casino is a good drive from anywhere in Minnesota, I probably will not be going back until after the winter is over. However, I will post on this board before I do go.

A picture of the $5.00 chip is presently on Greg's Board, under Minnestoa
