Alan; I don't know if you (and others) are aware of this.... but if you notify AOL that you are now connected to a cable modem they will reduce your monthly bill to only $9.95, which allows you to keep your old email address and still have the free MY PLACE web space and all other AOL benefits and services. This allows you to access AOL through your cable service without having to dial a local phone number to connect with AOL. It's instant! No busy signals, no drop-outs. It's the best of both worlds. I personally prefer the AOL email service better than IE on cable. Archie
