Actually, during Bob's era when he would frequent the Jazz joints in The Village, they were known as Beatnicks and not Hippies.

I used to hang out in the clubs down on First Avenue and I remember some of the leftovers would stop by for coffee after hours. In fact, I think I remember seeing Bob from time-to-time. Looked the same...even back then. <G>
