Since the Grand Vic closed the poker room this past March, no one I know has gone back. Argosy and Caesars are booming. The Grand Vic and the new Belterra will battle for the leftovers, and I'd be surprised if they can both make it. Of course if you just laid everybody off and put strictly slots on a boat, that would be pretty juicy for the house. That would maintain most of the income while drastically cutting expenses. I don't know if that meets Indiana gaming regulations. I don't see how there can be enough farmers between Louisville and Cincinnati to supply those two boats. Like you said, there is little reason to go past Argosy from Cincinnati, and even less to go past Caesars from Louisville. Those two boats are in the middle of nowhere, with the nuts on both sides of them. A tough spot. On a much smaller scale, that's kind of like putting a podunk sawdust joint right between the Mirage and Caesars Palace. Forget about it.
