Game ID, please!

In my 300 mile travels today, in search of something to do after celebrating the New Year, I found an odd game in an antique store. It was in one of those "malls" so the owner was unavailable. The game is played with 4 decks of cards & has 2 scoring devices with ivory keys. Some are numbered 1, 50, 100, & 500. The others are blank. The directions for playing the game were mind-boggling, & it was close to closing time so I only got a quick peek. The game was made by a Thos. something & Company in London & was dated 1914. It appeared to be an variation on bridge but what intrigued me was the scoring devices with the ivory keys. Does anybody have a clue what this might be? I recall the name "Bozequen" or some such title. Any help on value or other information would be greatly appreciated.
