Your impressions are correct. The Chipcos were
ordered to outfit the Captain Matthew Flinders which
began sailing early-January 1996 after the Club
Royale was lost at sea. Since I had documentation
from Summit that there were no duplicates except for
the samples in their house, and that the casino had
everything on board in the vault..... I published
these facts, and the casino still thought it was
best to use another company (Chipco), completly. I
worked very close with management to secure the few
chips that walked back on the new ship from the one
that went down. I took care of the girls in the
cage quite well at the time, too. The original
series was still considered live enought to be
redeemed at the cage....but not to be used in play.
When that supply was exhausted...I did my
advertising thing....and that, too, dried up after a
year's time. The existing availability is
considered quite scarce for the $5 and $25 chips...and quite rare concerning the
$2.50 and very rare concerning $100, as the ship was in operation for
only one month. We knew that very few Florida
collectors were on the ship in those 30-days. and we
knew that very few chips walked.

I have the following original chips available:

$1 chip @ $100
$5 chip @ $200
25 chip @ $200
