With no disrespect to members of the Colorado chapter or any other chapter for that matter, I just don't get it.
Why the reluctance to join the National? Is it the money ? I find that hard to believe. Chip collecting can become an expensive hobby. A few extra bucks to support the efforts of national/international organization hardly seems a financial burden.
Is it that the national offers little more than the regionals and people don't wan't to "pay twice" for the same thing? You tell me.

It appears to me that with numbers that have been going around pertaining to new sign ups, this club is starting to experience a snowball effect.
I believe that you can not satisfy everyone but if the club is to remain as a whole it should be done now. As membership increases with all these factions making their own rules, down the road it will become impossible to control. Its difficult enough at present.
I believe that pandering to the likes of any individual, person,or group is a serious mistake.

I realize that there are people working to come to an amicable solution to these matters. I like others would like to see this happen, but without giving away the ranch.

There has been a proposal for trial or interim membership. When I get trial membership joining the Army, Buying a New house, Or getting married, I'll support trial membership in the club.
I don't believe [correct me if i'm wrong] that any of the individual chapters offer trial membership. Why should the national.

I am not well enough versed to understand the membership cost structure of regional clubs, but perhaps there is a way to consolidate dues of regional and the national into one.
