I don't think that you are out of line, but having dealt on eBay for 3 years I too have had similar experiences many times and am probably guilty for not sending items to buyers as fast as I had promised. Sometimes life's many obligations keep us from doing that which we know we must do.

On the flip side of the coin, I have waited as much as 4-6 weeks for shipments to arrive after paying promptly with checks. I have never been burnt and have probably made close to 500 purchases. It has at times taken some begging, praying and threatening to get the goods, but in the end all has turned out positive.

So, don't let it worry you too much. In the future you should contact the seller before you bid to make certain they will ship on time and as promised, this may help....
