Gaming Archaeology Auction No. 32.1

To All,
Received in the mail a few days ago Gaming Archaeology Auction No. 32.1 put out by Howard and Kregg Herz. The auction closes September 7th, 2000.

I believe there is till time for Howard to get a catalog out to anyone who is interested. You can reach Howard and/or Kregg at 1-775-782-5681. I don't know what the cost would be for a single issue since I purchase mine in a group.

There are some nice pieces in this auction. Nice enough to ALMOST get me to bid <g>. The $500.00 Circus Circus - Reno as Howard states is "The rarity of the sale".

For those who are interested in Howard's research on page 36 is a reproduction of a Mason and Co. card involving the Fremont Hotel, Inc. It establishes once and for all that there was only one 50 cent Brown hub mold chip (poker room) issued and not two different colors as listed in TCR. I always believed the maroon listed chip was at first a brown without sunlight <vbg>. Anyway the catalog is really well done as is all of the ones produced by the Herzs.
Best, Jim
