Yes I have the same problem with the 'smell' (am afraid to use the other word)
What I try to do when I store the older material, more recent plaques and jetons don't have that problem 'yet', NOT to store them in airtight environments.
Try to store it somewhere where the air can circulate, so when the material sweats, and becomes to smell, with the circulation of air it will reduce the
sweating.
Just my 2 cents worth if advice along with more expiereanced experts.
For shure I have some spelling errors, but hey I am a foreigner....(hahaha)
