Re: History books
In Response To: History books ()

There has yet to be written a much needed book on Las Vegas casinos, alone. One fairly interesting book is Viva Vegas by Paul Ralli. It is something of a puff piece, but at the end is appended great photos of the strip casinos as they were in 1953. Included are interior shots of the casinos, a typical restaurant and a typical room for each strip casino. Also are photos and bio sketches of the major strip casino owners. I got a copy on amazon.com fairly cheap, and thee are probably more out there.
