I didn't say " it couldn't be done." I only related my experience. I'm not in control of any casino's chip distribution policies. I went there to get more and was told they were sold out. A friend went there, was told they were sold out, and scoured several tables to find two. It'd be my guess someone bought a quantity and then returned some. Speculators trying to control the market. Or cashiers who don't know what's in the back. Or cage managers releasing chips in spurts to thwart the speculators. Makes the whole LE thing pretty unreliable at times. I go by the most reliable information I can get, and try to be fair in any case. I don't think I gouged you. I recall throwing in an extra Atlantis just to be fair. Enlightenment is always welcome. I'm glad you were able to stock up. Be careful if you sell any to anyone under the pretext they have value.
