Question for TCR authors

When determining the new value of a chip from one year to the next, how is it done. Ive read the TCR and understand that sales, availability, new finds etc are factors. But, How in the world can a few researchers keep track of the sales, prices, and new finds? It must be a nightmare. Example: If a Nevada chip is a plus or minus in TCR #7 and goes up or down by say $25.00 how is this determined? What statistics do you use and how do you get them? Im not trying to get any secrets and believe me, I sure appreciate the efforts! Thank you all so much! Just wondering, Thanks, Don
