I have a few questions myself ......

1] Do all manufacturers use basically the same material as this may affect cleaning procedures?
2] Historically has this composition changed?
3]What different procedures if any should be used on chips with brass,steel or aluminum inserts.
I wonder if there is someone out there with some background in chemistry that could perform some test on some throw away chips like soaking them in some of the solvents suggested to see if there are any drawbacks?
