More -- What we all can agree on!

Reading over my first point (1), it seems a little Utopian and extra work. I put it there for discussion. It just struck me though that it is a very good idea (and I think all would agree) if we had a code of ethics for on-line auction sellers and gave a Club Seal of Approval to those Club members who are in good standing and agree to abide by the code of ethics. We could then provide a link in those particular auctions to a Club web page giving both the On-Line Auction Sellers' Code of Ethics and an Introduction/Application to the Club! (This idea takes no extra work on anyone's part; there would be no commission to the Club.)

About my point (2) in the original post, it currently takes some work to photograph the chips and write up the descriptions for a printed catalog, so it shouldn't take that much more work to do it for an online auction (?). I didn't think of the extra time to collect the winning bids (although, it currently is a chore to go after high bids from mail bidders, so what is the difference? Presumably, a lot of high bidders will be at the convention, and will pay-up there), but maybe it would pay for itself in extra high bids and commissions (?).
