Re: MY NEWEST PURTY...ANY HISTORY ON THE CHIP??

I agree, Steve...too much junk is coming over being passed for club chips. This is why I only get involved with the super-rare material such as the French-style Mother-of-Pearl chips belonging to the ptesident of Cuba, José Miguel Gomez; 1909-1913, which was featured on the Home-Garden Network showing The Dale Seymour Collection (also on page-14 Antique Gambling Chips). It was a pleasure for me to add this set to Dale's cabinet. This is the type of material that can accurately be attributed to CUBA...chips with club names, known logos, monograms and... (OR THAT DIRTY NAME; RECORDS). I would use caution with some of this stuff coming over. I pass it up constantly down here in Florida.
I would suggest those who are interested in this type of material deal with those with a long track record....such as our Henry G.
