As you get older you rethink $35 or $45.

People flying 1000s of miles, paying $100's for airline tickets, buying chips 10 to 100 times over face, dropping $ into slots or betting $10.00 a hand on Black Jack, they worry about $35 a night for the luxury of a real nice place.

Remember you are on vacation, and supposed to be doing things different. You scrimp and scrape to save up for Vacation to act differently than you do at home. It always amazed me, people who get a room with a kitchen so they can cook while on vacation. Since nothing is different from home, why didn't they stay home?

I would not let a $35.00 more charge a room night, prevent me from looking at a top property. Aren't our people deserving of the better and newer places?

PS Remember the worst dumps on the strip use to be the back rooms at the Stardust. Have they tore those down yet? I hope so, I checked out of there one night, because going cheap was not bearable.
