My "Two Cents"
In Response To: Re: Surprised (clarification) ()

I Think trust has to work two ways. I do not advocate that a seller should ship chips prior to payment. On the same hand does it not also leave an element of distrust if a dealer is not willing to do so?
I have had the reverse problem of having sent payment and not receiving merchandise. While there is an avenue on E-bay to posssibly remedy this, in most cases for the few dollars its more aggravation than its worth.I only follow this course mostly to protect others, not that i'm a martyr, but I hope others would do the same for me.
I suppose that in the case of E-bay one should examine the buyers feedback record. If the buyer is also a club member the clubs code of ethics also comes into play.
Personally if a seller ships to me prior to my payment, that earns him/her my trust and a few brownie points too boot for future transactions.
